I am sokwana bakele /
my story, it was a young man who takes his ram /
he is walking with it, looking for someone (who) will wrestle him /
? /
he enters in Dengle, he becomes undefeatable /
he enters Banue, he becomes undefeatable /
he enter taham'zulum, he become undefeatable /
he enters ɓaŋsi he becomes undefeatable /
he enters ɗem then the hare comes out and says he is strong enough /
that he should give him the ram, if he slaughter it and eat, that he should come the following week he will defeat him /
so he takes the ram, he slaughters it and eats it. when it was time to wrestle, he takes his children and escapes into the bush /
now the clouds have changed into rain, then the young man built his house in the bush /
he set a fire, now it is raining, so he takes his kids and rush to the young man's house /
they, he and his wife, cooked food, they eat -wife with her fellow women, while he eats together with him /
when they sleep together, he dreamt the young man will put his heavy leg on him /
then he start singing in that dream /
"he said he is in trouble by touching what is not for him..." /
'hare, hare, hare', he wakes up, 'what happened?', he said it was that man with/of heavy legs pressing him with his leg /
he made (me) ran away to a bush, rain beat me, beat me, beat me, I came to sleep then the person pressed me with his heavy (?) /
the man said that nobody (was pressing him), that he should go back to sleep, he continued sleeping /
again he started shouting in the dream /
singing... "he said he is in trouble by touching what is not for him" /
hare hare hare, he awakes and then the man said here is my leg you must pay me back my ram /
said ok he should be patience, when it was morning he will give him one of his child /
when it was morning he killed one of his children and gave it to him, that's all. /
that again his seven kids were finish all /
then he tells him that he was the only one left, that if he wanted to kill him /
he should raise him up /
--------? before he slaughter, if not he cannot be slaughter /
then he proceed to farm, he tells his daugther to cook meat for him /
then he tells the man's daugthers that if she wants to kill him she should raise him up /
so the girl raised him up, then he kick the girl on her head and the girl dies /
he turned and slept near the room, waiting... /
he came back and saw his daughter was killed, and he said "oh who killed my daughter?', then the hare answer "ok, because it is your who is in pain" /
"how about mine?" he started calling his family's members names, he said "if you gave me my child, i'll give you yours" /
then the man went and took the bones of the children and spoke to them, and gave them to him /
then he also raise the daughter of the man, that he that ate his leg, the man should also hold him /
my story has ended /
bring an egg and break it there /
